Collages

The split screen collages are a study on found visual images and the juxtaposition of two or more ideas, themes, textures or colors. I believe there is something special about physical printed material in the era of digital and swipe screens. I look to explore the connection multiple images can have with each other in the same space. I enjoy stretching them out and creating a landscape to view. Using printed material is a way to get these photographs I see out into the public eye again,  work that may be missed by being buried in old magazine stacks or uncommon books.
