CHARCOAL DRAWINGS

My love for charcoal drawings on wood developed in my senior year of college. I love using organic material as a surface and the relationship charcoal develops with the natural patterns of wood grain. I think there is a softness that can be captured in drawings with charcoal and wood materials. I hope to use that softness to capture a moment.
