PEN DRAWINGS

The line drawings explore natural beauty patterns and an attempt at creating flow. I often let my hand guide the movements of where the next flower will be or the next line in the creature with only eyes. When I start a creature, it’s always with eyes and I consider my emotions at the time. The creatures started out as doodles, then over the past few years turned into hand exercises of moving a pen, and now they are expressions of my subconscious. I try to blend the patterns of creatures with flowers at times, and other times let the plants speak for themselves. In this series I seek to study and develop my line work and capture organic beauty.
